Website design for Verdant Nature Creations, an apothecary and gift shop in Loveland, Colorado. The owner, Rhiannon, had experienced several frustrating attempts to get her website built, including a designer disappearing mid-project and another who appeared to go out of business, leaving things half-finished. The partially finished site also didn't reflect the business or the overall design aesthetic Rhiannon wanted. She needed someone who would listen, develop a clear direction, and follow through. My goal was not only to create a site that captured her vision and was easy for her to update, but also to make the design process smoother and more enjoyable.
We started with a strategy session and moodboard to establish the look and feel of the business. Using her existing logo as a foundation, I created a simple but effective Squarespace site, expanding the visual identity with a complementary color palette, typography, stock photography, and icons.
Rhiannon was thrilled to finally have a website that reflected her vision, connected to her online Square store, and was easy to update.
